LSAT Prep You May Already Be Paying For: LawHub Access and Tuition Reimbursement
Here's two things most LSAT students do not know. First, if you are enrolled in a program licensed by LSAC to use official PrepTest material, LawHub access is included as a condition of that license, so a separate subscription is usually unnecessary. Second, LSAT prep from a real, registered provider is often reimbursable through VA education benefits, Veteran Readiness and Employment, DoD programs, state vocational rehabilitation, and state workforce development programs.
What is LawHub and do I need a subscription?
LawHub is LSAC's own platform, and it is the only place every official LSAT PrepTest is published. A LawHub subscription gives individual users access to the full library.
But you may not need to buy it yourself. When a prep company is licensed by LSAC to use official PrepTest material in its course, LSAC's licensee policy requires the company to provide LawHub access to its enrolled students. It is part of the licensing arrangement, not a bonus the company chooses to offer.

So if your program is an LSAC licensee, LawHub access comes with your enrollment. The right question to ask is not "should I buy LawHub?" but "where is the LawHub access my program is required to give me?"
How do I know if my LSAT program is an LSAC licensee?
Ask directly. A licensed program will say so and can tell you how your LawHub access is provisioned. If a program cannot answer, one of two things is true: it is not licensed, which means the "official" questions is uses are not actually official, or it is licensed and did not tell you what you are entitled to. Either answer is worth knowing before you pay for anything else.
Ginsburg Advanced is an LSAC licensee. Every student in our classes and tutoring programs receives LawHub access as part of enrollment.
Can LSAT prep be reimbursed?
Yes, in more cases than most people check. The condition is that the provider must be a real, registered business with instructors of record and the ability to document hours and issue invoices. Subscription apps generally cannot meet that bar. Attorney-led, licensed programs can.
Programs through which Ginsburg Advanced students have had tuition covered or reimbursed:
VA education benefits (GI Bill) for eligible veterans and dependents
Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E, Chapter 31) through the VA, for veterans with service-connected disabilities pursuing a career path
DoD education and transition programs, including spouse career programs
State vocational rehabilitation agencies, for students with documented disabilities (the same population that often qualifies for LSAT testing accommodations)
State workforce development programs such as the Texas Workforce Commission
Employer tuition assistance, which frequently covers graduate-school test prep
How do I request reimbursement for LSAT prep?
Contact your benefits counselor or case manager before you enroll, not after.
Ask what documentation they require. Typically: a provider invoice, a description of the program and hours, the instructor's credentials, and proof of the provider's business registration.
Request those documents from the prep provider. A legitimate provider can produce all of them within a day.
Submit with your enrollment agreement. Some programs pay the provider directly; others reimburse you after completion.
We provide this documentation for every student who asks. If you are not sure which program you qualify for, our intro call is free and we will tell you what to request.
